Losing your love handles can
be done. It won’t be an overnight thing, so be patient. Like any other good
thing it takes time.
Love handles are the
stubborn deposits of fat on the sides of your abdomen. We all know how it feels
to have that fat bulging over our jeans. For us gals it is a real pain to have
love handles. When we wear tank tops or other fitted shirts, the rolls show and
make us self-concious. We carefully check the mirror before going out of the
house to make sure they are covered up.
6 Ways To Lose Love Handles
Watch what you eat – You
need to cut down on fats and empty calories in order to help you lose those
love handles. Cut down on pastries, sodas, fried foods, fast foods, and fatty
dishes. Lowering the fat intake will encourage your body to burn fat deposits
like those in your love handles.
Do complete strength
exercises – Some people avoid the working out certain areas of their body. This
is a mistake. Doing full body strength and resistance exercises will help
increase your overall muscle mass. Muscle mass burns more fat off your body.
Work your abs – You have to
work your ab muscles, especially the ab muscles that run down the sides of your
abdomen (obliques). Having more muscle mass will make your abs look leaner and
more firm.
Drink plenty of water – You
really do have to drink 8-10 glasses of water a day. That may seem difficult,
but it is necessary to prevent water retention. Staying properly hydrated keeps your body function better and
burn off more calories.
Do interval cardio workouts
– Interval cardio training burns a lot more fat and works the ab muscles, which
helps get rid of the love handles. Alternate intense cardio, like running, with
a slower paced cardio, like power walking for maximum fat burning.
Get at least 7 hours sleep
at night – Our bodies are still developing muscle mass while we sleep.
Increased muscle mass means we will be able to burn more fat. If you don’t get
enough rest, you won’t have the maximum muscle mass and will burn less fat.
